We are the group of webdesign, UI engineering and ergonomy enthousiasts that consists of professional graphics, new media students, PhD students and various professionals that are interested in studying the influence of colors on website on various audience, not only from cultural angle (feedback of different cultures on different colors) but also how the colors on websites change from topic to topic.

WHAT

For example: financial websites tend to use black on white almost all the time, which is considered to be original color scheme of official paper documents. Our aim is to analyse also ergonomy of colors that are used on web and how does bad choice of the colors affect the ergonomy of website and usability of interface. We have seven volunteer testers (evaluators) that are colorblind to various extend and they help us to understand the needs of surfers better. Most of the information that is passed to human brain is visual, colors play a big role in understanding the world around us.

In order to design right template for different verticals we analyze the web to see the colour distribution over various categories.

What does the color wheel show? This color wheel demonstrates what colors are used on this web template. The closer to the middle of circle color is being displayed the darker this particular color is. And vice versa the closer to the edge of the wheel color is being displayed the lighter that color is. It take approximatelly 12 seconds to highlight exact positions of the website colours on the color wheel.
