You can try to change the ‘Timestamp format’ under the ‘Formatting’ tab to display the post date properly.

I’ve added it to my blog. One thing, for some reason, the date is not showing under my blog post heading like it does in the demo. I’ve looked at the html code but not really sure what I should be looking for.
