I very much like this template. As you’ve said, the simplicity allows for very easy customization, and a wide range of use. The simple but elegant typography, and the lack of overly flashy visuals makes any site using this seem just that much more content-based. Frankly, I wish more blog templates were as simple and elegant as this, as it really encourages creative thought on the part of the blogger to bring people to their site through the blog posts they make, instead of a skin that makes everyone want to come back just to see it.
