First of all thanks for the great template, i like so much, and has been using it for a while,btw i have some minor issue in the layout setting, the arrangement of element is messy, here is d screen shot of my layout setting.

Thanks for further reply, the customization of background image or color involves almost entire CSS, but you can focus on the part with image address (URL) and color code.

Also if you want to change the background image, you would need an image hosting site like Photobucket, or you can upload the image to one of your blog’s post, then copy and replace it with the original image address.

Sure, you can edit the specific post when you clicked into the post page.

You can add ‘Read More’ link (or Jump link) by referring to Blogger’s post below:

You need to access into blog’s ‘Layout’ and under the ‘Edit HTML’ tab, modify the CSS part of the template to change the background image as well as color.
